I would absolutely give this moving company a 6-star rating if I could. They come with my highest recommendation. During my prior relocation, I had used a different moving service which had resulted in scratches on my furniture and stress due to communication issues. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the new house wasn’t ready on time, and we had to redirect all of our stuff to a storage facility. Imagine my surprise when the final bill was presented and it was half of the agreed price. The team lead explained that they switched to an hourly rate because it would cost me less. the pricing for a long-haul move using the u-pack trailer is unbeatable. the team was incredibly professional and accommodating. i opted to pay a bit more to secure a specific delivery date, allowing me to book local movers for the following day. the trailer arrived as expected, though the ramp was missing. i was informed it would arrive later, however, it didn’t. when i tried to contact the local office, there was no response and no option to leave a message. i reached out to the main office, but they too were unable to get in touch with the local branch. they informed me that the ramp was not included in the guarantee. this was a bit of a setback since the trailer was essentially redundant without a ramp. luckily, the local movers i had hired were able to supply their own ramp. however, not all moving companies have this option, as the ramp is usually provided with the truck. i didn’t receive any follow-up calls from either the local or main office about the missing ramp. despite this hiccup, the u-pack service was ultimately a success for our moving needs. however, it’s important for potential customers to know that a ramp might not always be guaranteed.

I was in quite a predicament with a botched moving situation, but I was fortunate to connect with a technician from Sunset International Shipping Los Angeles near the close of business on a Saturday. I shared my plight and he generously gave me his personal cell phone number, which I had to use the following day after being let down by previous movers. Sunset International Shipping Los Angeles essentially rescued my move with less than a day’s notice. The technician was open and direct throughout the entire process. After having a bad experience, I was hesitant to trust a company found at the last minute, but I’m relieved I discovered this moving company. It was a move across Los Angeles and they completed it within the agreed timeframe. Without their intervention, I would have been in a much worse predicament. A team of their workers came to assist with my move and they were outstanding. They took exceptional care of my furniture and all other items in my apartment. They also helped with packing, which was done professionally. My only minor quibbles were that it was occasionally challenging to reach the technician (which is understandable given the last-minute arrangement) and that my bicycle handle had been tweaked to fit on the truck. However, the technician explained how to rectify it, which I managed to do, albeit not as expertly as the movers. Overall, I can’t endorse Sunset International Shipping Los Angeles enough. They were my lifeline and performed outstandingly in the process. The other reviews are spot on; these guys warrant at least 5 stars.

We were relocating from a home we’d lived in for over three decades and decided to engage the services of a widely recommended moving company. In comparison to a recent move by a family member that took three days due to insufficient staffing, our experience was seamless. The estimator from the moving company visited us, gave a quote, and scheduled a professional and friendly team for us. They efficiently packed our belongings in the morning, moved everything, and by the afternoon, they had set up our bed in the new house. We slept in our old house one night and by the next night, we were comfortably settled in our new home. The four-person team was punctual, arriving early in the morning and incredibly efficient. We had done our packing (with boxes and tape provided by the estimator) and had filled our shed and garage with boxes, plus all the furniture in the house. It’s surprising how much stuff we had! Our move was flawlessly executed, with no items damaged or broken. By 4:30 in the afternoon, everything was moved into our new home. This seamless process was a testament to the experienced team and the professional oversight of our estimator. “I hadn’t moved for 8 years so you can imagine how comfortable I was moving my home to London so my wife could be closer to her family. Not comfortable one bit. I knew it was going to cost and arm and a leg getting it done also. International moving is not cheap now matter how you look at it. It all boiled down to who I was going to pay this arm and a leg with. Running through the list on-line Sunset was the most profession over the phone and one of the very few who mentioned anything about an in home estimate. I had no idea what that meant to be honest. To find out the price you’re going to pay( instead of a ball park quote) they examine every item and piece of furniture you want to move. I didn’t see the benefit of a quote when the price is just going to change anyway. Sunset just made more sense to me which is why I chose them. It ended up being a choice that paid off when I got my things. I really like the insurance bonus you get when doing a move with them – makes it all a bit less stressful.”

Hello, Our goods were delivered yesterday and I want to say thank you to all of the teams involved. The team that picked up and wrapped the goods in Sacramento was very professional. They arrived on time and were well prepared and obviously very experienced. The communications on the delivery was very good. We were able to enjoy our holiday in France because we knew when the goods would arrive. Finally, the gentleman that delivered the goods was very polite and very strong. He had to carry several very heavy/awkward items up and down stairs. He was very patient when we had to change the placement of the largest item. Thank you again to all.

To be honest, I chose particularly this moving company from reading reviews online. And I wasn’t wrong. I ordered the move of 1 Br apartment and many home appliances. 2 movers brought in advance packing materials (boxes, tape, etc.) at the agreed time. I disassembled and packed my things by myself. The move went well. All household goods were taken from “A” to point “B” in safe and sound. Guys were so polite and attentive. They listened to my directions regarding very fragile items, and they’ve been very careful with them. In general, these movers were very attentive, detailed, but didn’t drag the time… The professional treatment and communication was at the highest level, as if they were moving themselves, not me)) Thank you! We used the services of Sunset International moving company and we were so satisfied! On the phone, the operator advised me to learn beforehand what and how they transport, as well as country’s custom requirements that we moved to. She named a price based on our inventory and told how it is calculated. She also warned of additional costs if the time stretched. On the appointed day, without delay 3 movers knocked at the door 🙂 And our fun Saturday began. Some of the things we packed in boxes, and other fragile items we had to get crated. It wasn’t that expensive! The movers were so funny, quick, and honest. They dismantled beds, accurately wrapped up furniture and packed some home appliances. Afterwards, they loaded all our belongings in the big vehicle and headed to the new port. In a few weeks after we received everything at our new place in Italy, representative called to ask how our move went. The answer was – Great! 🙂

We were moving in the beginning of May. My friend advised to use the services of this particular moving company, I also heard their advertising, so I decided to inquire about their service. To begin with, I really liked the manager’s consultation – they advised me to pack small items, so that nothing could be damaged, and informed that they will wrap bigger pieces and furniture in the boxes they provide! They even have great wardrobe boxes! To be honest – I was waiting for something bad to happen, like that movers wouldn’t come, or they would charge the money three times over the quoted price, but NO, everything went well, no complaints. There was a lot of boxes, plus a large sofa, but job well done guys – they did not pull the time, all things have been delivered in safety, and price I was charged was exactly as quoted. In general, I’ve got the positive impressions from this moving experience!

I ordered the move from 3Br apt in this company in January 11, 2016, with a lot of expensive furniture, and of course I was very worried that it might get ruined or damaged, but luckily all my worries were pointless!! We moved two months ago from a one-BR apartment in the new two bedroom flat across the world. In December, we moved to a new house in Italy. Man, it was our family’s dream for a while. No matter that we tried to mentally prepare for this process ahead of time, we had no idea of how things would turn out. The price quoted was a bit more expensive than we expected, but well worth it, as all our belongings to get to the new place without a scratch! We didn’t have to worry much about packing and wrapping as we had to take care of many other things. These guys work quietly, gently, generally well done. In addition, a fridge and washing machine were really heavy, but they moved it without hesitation. In the end, the cost turned out to be as much as the manager calculated!

I turned to this company when my friend reveled his positive experience after relocating his company’s office abroad. I got to share my experience with you guys as well. The movers came exactly on time – three good/ young man with heroic strength. While two of them were loading boxes in the truck, other movers let all the belongings down to the entrance to speed up the process. They loaded the things in such a good professional way so nothing would move or potentially get damaged. Even our aquariums arrived in their original condition! Guys coped perfectly with all the packing and wrapping tasks. They’ve finished the whole moving process in under 5 hours – without smoke breaks, pretty impressive!

We actually face with the moving process more than once. We usually don’t use professional moving companies, but in this case we had to because of international relocation. We were afraid that the result will not justify the financial cost. At this time, we decided to seek the services of an efficient moving company. Considering that in the course of the previous relocation we packed most items ourselves, this time we decided that we have to deal with experienced movers and packers. As a result, we all really enjoyed the moving process, the price justified the quality, and not much time was spent on the move. In the future, we plan to use Sunset International Moving again because of their professionalism and attention to details!
